Orthopaedic Unit Scheduled to Open!Ask the Doctor
The doors will open on Lakewood Hospital's new Orthopaedic Unit in November. The new unit is the first of many that will undergo a complete makeover to offer private patient rooms. To celebrate the opening, we will be hosting a special orthopaedic health talk, which will also include dinner and a tour! Look for more details coming soon.

Hope Program Offers Special Mammogram Screening Vision
Breast cancer claims more than 40,000 lives every year. Unfortunately, advanced or metastatic breast cancer is not curable; therefore, emphasis must be directed toward early detection. To protect yourself against breast cancer, it is recommended to have your first mammogram by age 40 as well as conducting a self breast exam each month.
